About Us: Here at IT Works, we’re currently looking to appoint an IFS Technical Consultant to join a well-established team on a full-time basis for the next 6 months. The IFS Consultant is able to work remotely with occasional on-site travel, (all expenses will be covered). We are seeking a talented and experienced IFS ERP Technical Consultant to join the team and drive the success of the ERP projects.
Job Description: As an IFS ERP Technical Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our ERP implementations, ensuring that our clients maximize the benefits of the IFS ERP system. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to provide technical expertise, customize the ERP system, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements for the IFS ERP system.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for the implementation and customization of IFS ERP modules.
- Configure and customize the IFS ERP system to align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain data integrations and interfaces to connect the ERP system with other software applications.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and functionality of the ERP system.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, system architecture, and configuration guides.
- Stay up-to-date with IFS ERP advancements and industry trends to offer innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other consultants to ensure successful ERP project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an IFS ERP Technical Consultant or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFS ERP, including customization, integration, and development.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant certifications in IFS ERP or related fields are a plus.
