About the Role
We are seeking a Functional Consultant (Or Junior) with strong IFS ERP experience to join a business that has recently gone live with a new ERP system. This is a hands-on role where you will focus on supporting and optimising processes across planning, purchasing, and data management.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate setup of Bills of Materials (BOMs), maintaining purchasing data, and supporting product setup from design through to order entry. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with both technical and operational teams, helping the organisation streamline its ERP usage and fill identified process gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day ERP operations with a focus on planning and purchasing
- Set up and maintain BOMs, product data, and purchasing information
- Assist with product creation, ensuring planning and purchasing processes are aligned
- Collaborate with colleagues across technical, functional, and operational teams
- Provide functional expertise to ensure effective ERP system use
- Troubleshoot issues and recommend process improvements

- Previous IFS experience
- Strong knowledge of planning, purchasing, and BOM setup
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
