- Lead the creation, maintenance and governance of product, part and manufacturing master data within IFS.
- Import and manage large volumes of engineering, product and commercial data into the ERP system.
Ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, work centres and manufacturing structures are accurately defined and maintained.
- Establish data quality standards and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across the system.
- Audit and validate ERP data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Product Configuration & Development
- Design, implement and maintain IFS configurators to support custom and engineered-toorder products.
- Work with engineering teams to translate product rules, options and specifications into ERP configuration logic.
- Develop scalable product configuration frameworks to support future product development.
- Support the introduction of new products by ensuring system structures and processes are established correctly from the outset.
- Manufacturing Process Definition
- Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and process flows within IFS.
- Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to ensure manufacturing data accurately reflects shop floor processes.
- Support the development of standard costing structures and resource planning models.
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing data and ERP-enabled processes.
- Business Systems Support
- Act as the subject matter expert for product structures, manufacturing data and configurator functionality within IFS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues affecting engineering, production or commercial teams.
- Support ERP upgrade, optimisation and improvement projects.
- Create and maintain documentation, standards and operating procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain teams to understand business requirements.
- Train and support users on ERP processes and best practices.
- Promote data accuracy, process discipline and ERP adoption throughout the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience administering or implementing IFS ERP within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, work centres and manufacturing processes.
- Experience importing, structuring and managing product and manufacturing master data.
- Experience developing or supporting product configurators within an ERP environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to engage effectively with engineering, manufacturing and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
Desirable
- Experience with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications.
- Knowledge of engineer-to-order (ETO), configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing environments.
