Job Description

We are seeking an Application Support and Development Analyst to contribute to the ongoing development and support of key business systems for a client based in Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone with experience in C#, SQL Server, and ERP platforms who is looking to further develop skills in automation, integration, and business process improvement.

Responsibilities

Application and Business Logic Development

• Develop and maintain custom business logic using C# to support workflows within an Epicor ERP environment
• Translate functional requirements into effective and maintainable technical solutions
• Create, enhance, and maintain Epicor BAQs to support operational and analytical reporting
• Build dashboards and user-facing insights that provide real-time visibility of business performance

System Integration and Automation

• Support the design and configuration of integrations using REST APIs and automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate or similar tools
• Maintain and update automated processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Assist with improving data exchange between the ERP system and external applications such as ecommerce and logistics platforms

Data and Reporting Support

• Develop SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and system operations
• Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and validate data outputs
• Promote data consistency and ensure the accuracy of information flowing through connected systems
• Assist with the maintenance of reporting solutions such as SSRS or embedded Epicor tools

Technical Support and Collaboration

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Work as part of a cross-functional technical team on enhancement projects and system upgrades
• Contribute to internal process documentation and configuration records
• Share knowledge and continually build technical and ERP system expertise
