We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with hands-on expertise in RiO Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and a proven track record of managing system migrations within the NHS. This is a critical role within our digital transformation programme, focused on successfully delivering the migration and optimisation of RiO across a Trust. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, a deep understanding of NHS clinical workflows, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of RiO migration projects across clinical and operational services.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risk registers, and communication strategies.
- Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and clinical leads to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Ensure data migration activities are secure, accurate, and compliant with NHS standards and IG protocols.
- Manage testing phases, user training, change management, and go-live support.
- Report on progress, escalate risks, and ensure project milestones and KPIs are achieved on time and within scope.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager delivering RiO implementations or migrations within an NHS Trust.
- Strong understanding of NHS data governance, IG regulations, and clinical system interoperability.
