The Digital Identity Agent will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Digital Identity service across the Trust, ensuring that staff are provided with appropriate access to national and local clinical and non-clinical systems in accordance with NHS policies, information governance requirements and national standards.
- Administer NHS Care Identity Service (CIS2) accounts and Digital Identity services
- Manage the issuance, maintenance, renewal, unlocking and revocation of NHS Smartcards
- Create, amend and deactivate user accounts in line with Joiners, Movers and Leavers processes
- Administer and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) positions and activities, ensuring users receive appropriate access based on their role
- Process access requests for national and local clinical and non-clinical systems
- Verify user identity and supporting documentation in accordance with NHS England Identity Verification standards
- Maintain accurate records of Smartcard issuance, Digital Identity activities and access permissions
