About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Change Manager to lead the change management workstream of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation. This is a critical role focused on ensuring that people, processes, and culture align with the successful delivery and long-term adoption of the new EPR system.

As the Business Change Manager, you’ll be instrumental in preparing the organisation for transformation, ensuring that the operational and clinical impact of the EPR is understood, embraced, and embedded across all services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business change and engagement strategy aligned to the EPR programme timeline.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders to assess change readiness and define support mechanisms.
  • Lead on stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and benefits realization activities.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate change-related risks and resistance throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Ensure robust plans are in place for go-live support and post-implementation embedding of new ways of working.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager, Training Lead, Communications Lead, and other key members of the EPR implementation team.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in leading business change within large-scale digital transformation programmes, preferably within healthcare or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of Electronic Patient Record systems and their operational and clinical impacts.
  • Experience applying change management methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and facilitation skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to analyse complex organisational landscapes and develop tailored change interventions.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working in an NHS or similar healthcare setting.
  • Formal change management qualification
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and service redesign.
