  • We are seeking an experienced

EPR Benefits Realisation & Optimisation Lead to support an NHS Trust following the successful implementation of its Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.

Working closely with clinical, operational and digital teams, you will ensure the Trust realises the intended benefits of the programme whilst identifying opportunities for continuous optimisation and future transformation.

This role is ideal for someone who has supported NHS organisations through post go-live stabilisation, optimisation and benefits tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Trust's benefits realisation strategy following EPR go-live.
  • Establish and maintain benefits registers, KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Work with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to define, measure and report programme benefits.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities that improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops to capture new requirements and improvement initiatives.
  • Produce regular benefits reports for Programme Boards, Executive Groups and Trust leadership.
  • Ensure benefits are aligned to the Trust's Digital Strategy and business objectives.
  • Support future EPR phases, upgrades and optimisation programmes.
  • Monitor benefit delivery, risks and dependencies throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Promote continuous improvement and embed a benefits-led culture across the organisation.

Essential Experience

  • Significant NHS experience delivering Benefits Realisation on large-scale digital transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience supporting EPR implementations through optimisation and post go-live phases.
  • Experience developing and managing Benefits Realisation Frameworks and Benefits Registers.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across clinical, operational and executive teams.
  • Experience presenting programme outcomes to senior leadership and Programme Boards.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and business change skills.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful performance and benefits reporting.
