We are seeking an experienced Epic Configuration Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to optimize workflows, enhance system functionality, and ensure successful delivery of Epic solutions that support patient care and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic applications in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinicians, department leaders, and operational teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.
- Analyze workflows and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency, usability, and patient outcomes.
- Develop and execute test plans, validate system changes, and support integrated testing activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution to support end users.
- Participate in system upgrades, new module implementations, and optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain system documentation, build specifications, workflows, and training materials.
- Support data validation, reporting requirements, and system audits as needed.
- Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain compliance with Epic standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more Epic applications (e.g., Ambulatory, ClinDoc, Orders, Cadence, Prelude, Beacon, Willow, Radiant, Cupid, or similar).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with system configuration, workflow analysis, testing, and implementation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Additional Epic certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare organizations.
