We are supporting an NHS organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced

EPR Transformation Lead to play a key role in driving the successful delivery and adoption of its Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme.

This is an opportunity to lead transformation across clinical and operational services, ensuring the EPR delivers measurable benefits, improves patient care, and supports long-term digital maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation workstream for a major EPR implementation or optimisation programme.
  • Develop and deliver the EPR transformation strategy across clinical and non-clinical services.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders, clinicians, operational teams, and digital departments to drive programme success.
  • Identify opportunities to redesign and improve clinical and operational workflows.
  • Ensure change initiatives align with organisational objectives and national NHS digital strategies.
  • Oversee benefits realisation, adoption, and post-go-live optimisation activities.
  • Work closely with Programme Managers, Change Leads, Clinical Safety Officers, and technical delivery teams.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and transformation plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Support governance meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience leading transformation on large-scale NHS EPR programmes.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end EPR implementation or optimisation.

• Experience working with one or more major EPR platforms, including

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior clinical and executive leaders.
  • Proven experience delivering service redesign, operational transformation, and benefits realisation.
