Programme Overview
The organisation is undertaking a major Electronic Patient Record (EPR) transformation through the implementation of Meditech Expanse. The EPR Programme Director will provide strategic leadership, governance, and delivery oversight for the end-to-end implementation, ensuring successful deployment, adoption, optimisation, and realisation of benefits across clinical and operational services.
The role will lead a multi-disciplinary programme team comprising clinical, operational, technical, digital, and supplier resources, whilst acting as the senior point of contact for executive stakeholders, clinical leadership, and Meditech.
Role Purpose
The EPR Programme Director will be accountable for the successful delivery of the Meditech Expanse Programme, ensuring the programme is delivered safely, within agreed timelines, budget, scope, and quality standards. The postholder will establish effective programme governance, manage supplier relationships, oversee organisational readiness, and drive clinical engagement to ensure the EPR delivers transformational benefits across patient care, operational efficiency, and digital maturity.

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Meditech Expanse Programme.
- Establish and maintain programme governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and assurance processes.
- Develop and manage the overall programme roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
