The LIMS Analyst Purpose: Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across pathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements from laboratory and clinical stakeholders.
- Configure LIMS workflows, user roles, and system functionality.
- Support data migration, system integrations, testing, and validation activities.
- Deliver user training, go-live support, and ongoing system improvements.
- Work closely with pathology teams, digital services, and suppliers to ensure successful implementation.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with LIMS or healthcare systems.
- Understanding of pathology laboratory workflows.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with testing, data migration, or system integration is desirable.
- Knowledge of UKAS/ISO 15189 and NHS digital transformation programmes is advantageous.
