The Application Specialist role is a critical part of the delivery of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution. As an EPR Application Specialist, you will be assigned to the delivery of projects for customers, supporting a range of clinical functionalities. You will work closely with technical specialists, team leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful and high-quality project delivery.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of EPR implementation projects across customer sites.
- Act as the knowledgeable and effective application point of contact for customers, providing design, integration, configuration, and implementation support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with your assigned delivery team to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Adhere to project management and delivery tools, including updating allocated tasks and accurately logging time.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks or concerns relating to assigned projects to the relevant team lead or manager.
- Support the application support team by assisting with the investigation and resolution of incidents when required.
- Complete all role-specific training and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Participate in exhibitions, demonstrations, and customer engagement activities when required.
- Flex across EPR delivery domains as needed to support active projects and deliverables.
- Travel to customer sites across the UK and, where required, internationally.
- Attend office locations as needed for meetings, training, and company events.
- Contribute to continuous product improvement by participating in development and testing activities and providing structured feedback to development teams.
- Maintain an understanding of clinical applications and their interoperability within wider healthcare systems.
