The Oracle Manufacturing Lead Consultant will serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle Manufacturing (MFG) and its integrated Supply Chain modules. This role requires extensive client interaction, ownership of solution design, and leadership across the full project lifecycleâfrom requirements gathering through goâlive and production support. The consultant will also coordinate with crossâfunctional and offshore teams to deliver highâquality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary SME for Oracle Manufacturing (MFG), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), and Inventory (INV) modules.
- Lead fitâgap analysis, solution design workshops, and endâtoâend business discussions with client stakeholders.
- Develop and present solution options, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system best practices.
- Document detailed design specifications, functional configurations, and process flows.
- Drive comprehensive business requirements documentation (BRD) and ensure clarity across functional and technical teams.
- Collaborate closely with offshore teams, development resources, and crossâmodule functional groups to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison for business users, IT teams, and project leadership.
- Lead and support all phases of the SDLC, including design, build, testing, deployment, and postâgoâlive support.
- Manage SIT and UAT cycles, including planning, execution oversight, defect resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct businessâtraining sessions and user education to ensure successful adoption.
- Own and manage cutover planning, data conversions, and readiness activities.
- Provide handsâon support for goâlive and transition to production support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
- Identify project risks, crossâfunctional dependencies, and potential gaps early in the lifecycle.
- Recommend and drive mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and successful delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 8â10 years of experience as an Oracle Manufacturing Consultant or similar functional leadership role.
- Demonstrated track record leading complex Oracle ERP implementations or enhancements.
- Strong clientâfacing communication skills with the ability to independently lead business discussions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate with distributed teams, and deliver under tight timelines.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, documentation standards, and best practices.
