We’re working with a pioneering UK-based space agency on a major transformation programme, and we’re looking to engage an experienced Data Load Lead to take the reins on SAP data migration delivery. This role calls for someone with hands-on experience using the SAP Data Migration Cockpit, across multiple modules and go-lives — particularly in Finance, Projects, Products and Procurement. The more modules under your belt, the better. This is a chance to take ownership and drive quality from end to end.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the data migration team, overseeing data extraction, load files and validation.
- Ensure integrity across the full data migration lifecycle — from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Own the defect management process; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and partners to ensure seamless integration.
- Uphold data governance standards throughout.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
- 5–10 years’ experience in SAP data migration, ideally with full E2E delivery exposure.
- Strong grasp of SAP Data Migration Cockpit tools and methodology.
- Familiarity with multiple SAP modules (Finance, Projects, Products, Procurement).
- Solid knowledge of data modelling, warehousing and migration processes.
- Bonus points for experience with data visualisation (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud).
- SAP certification is desirable but not essential.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to lead from the front.
