Linux Platform Engineer

Join a high-performing Infrastructure & Platform team supporting a wide range of modern, mixed-environment deployments. We\’re looking for an experienced Linux Engineer with strong automation skills and a passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

Administer and automate Linux systems (primarily on-prem, with some cloud).
Deliver project work across the full life cycle: design, build, deploy, support.
Work with virtualisation stacks, container platforms, and mixed OS environments.
Monitor and optimise performance, analyse logs, and resolve infrastructure issues.
Manage patching, backups, and vulnerability remediation.
Configure and enhance monitoring tools and automation pipelines.
Communicate directly with customers and handle escalations when needed.
Participate in an on-call rotation (with office-hours base in Stockport).
