My client is seeking a proactive, technically strong Head of ICT to take charge of their modern, blue chip IT environment. You will ensure that the firm's ICT environment is robust, compliant with UK regulatory requirements (including SRA, ICO, GDPR) and aligned with the firm's strategic objectives. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, line and project management skills, business analysis and strategic thinking. You will oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, communications platforms, cybersecurity, data governance and application management, while leading a high-performing team and managing key suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead ICT strategy, digital transformation and cloud/modern workplace initiatives
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, networks and communications
- Line-manage IT leadership roles and foster a high-performance culture
- Manage ICT budgets, procurement and vendor relationships
- Lead cybersecurity, information security, risk management, DR and incident response
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, SRA and internal policies
- Oversee core applications, data governance and system life cycle management
This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while ensuring a secure and reliable ICT environment.
Qualifications
You must have proved experience as an IT head ideally who stems from a professional services or finance background.
