Company Description: Your new employer is a Fortune 500 conglomerate with a myriad of businesses across energy, telecommunications, retail and many others. Reporting to the Global Director of Procurement & Commercial, this role will have a primary focus on varied technology procurement activities ranging from IoT to devices, software & hardware to networks; in effect - the latest technologies.

Your new manager is a globally experienced procurement leader with a great sense of humour and a huge appetite to get things done.

Job Description: Because this role sits in a global procurement operation, you will need to navigate ambiguity every day - variety is everything and commercial thinking is essential. You'll work to build strong procurement processes. You'll drive key meetings with a vast array of stakeholders across the world. You'll lead on key procurement projects & negotiations - seeing ways to lower cost, drive value and own the value chain. You'll develop a deep understanding of the group - in economies of scale whilst constantly driving the buying power of collective procurement activities at a group level.

Qualifications: You're savvy, plugged in & commercial. You have a breadth of experience but real open-mindedness to new things. You're not allergic to ambiguity & come with a real ability to adapt to new demands. Ideally degree qualified - however, technology procurement experience is far more valued! You're organised and can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
