We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major technology and transformation programme within the Energy & Utilities sector. This role requires a strong Business Analyst with genuine Energy, Power or Utilities experience, ideally gained within electricity transmission/distribution, energy markets, control centres or operational technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and business analysis across complex Energy & Utilities programmes.
  • Work with business, engineering, operational and technology stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Analyse current-state systems and processes and support the definition of future-state solutions.
  • Translate business and operational requirements for architecture, engineering and delivery teams.
  • Support systems integration across enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Facilitate workshops and produce requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Architects, Project Managers, technical teams and technology vendors.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst on complex technology programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience within Energy, Power or Utilities.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • SCADA
    • Energy Management Systems (EMS)
    • Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)
    • Power Systems
    • Control Centres / Control Systems
    • Electricity transmission or distribution
    • Energy Markets
    • Operational Technology (OT)
  • Strong systems integration and technology transformation experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Working Arrangements

The position requires 3 days per week on-site in Belfast. Candidates must have full legal right to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the assignment.
