IT Search is exclusively partnered with a globally recognised digital platform to hire a Lead Front-End Engineer. The company runs a highly visible, consumer-facing website used by millions worldwide and plays a central role in its space.
This is a high-impact front-end role within a business that prioritises product quality, technical standards, and long-term platform evolution.
You’ll lead a team of around five front-end engineers working on a large, complex web platform built on a modern stack and tightly integrated with internal APIs.
You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and API teams to shape how new features are delivered and how the platform continues to scale. The split is roughly 50/50 between coding and leading, with scope to influence architecture and longer-term technical decisions.
Requirements:
- Strong front-end engineering experience in high-traffic or large-scale web environments
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Good understanding of functional programming principles
Package: £140K + bonus up to 20%, excellent benefits, and fully remote working across most of Europe.
