Senior Business Analyst – Energy & Utilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major technology and transformation programme within the Energy & Utilities sector.
This role requires a strong Business Analyst with genuine Energy, Power or Utilities experience, ideally gained within electricity transmission/distribution, energy markets, control centres or operational technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and business analysis across complex Energy & Utilities programmes.
- Work with business, engineering, operational and technology stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.
- Analyse current-state systems and processes and support the definition of future-state solutions.
- Translate business and operational requirements for architecture, engineering and delivery teams.
- Support systems integration across enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- Facilitate workshops and produce requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Architects, Project Managers, technical teams and technology vendors.
Required Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst on complex technology programmes.
- Demonstrable experience within Energy, Power or Utilities.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- SCADA
- Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS)
- Power Systems
- Control Centres / Control Systems
- Electricity transmission or distribution
- Energy Markets
- Operational Technology (OT)
- Strong systems integration and technology transformation experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Working Arrangements
The position requires 3 days per week on-site in Belfast.
Candidates must have full legal right to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the assignment.
