Our client, based in North America but with offices across Europe, has partnered with IT Search to engage a Community Manager for a twelve month Fixed Term Contract (fully remote) to manage a significant number of image producers and artists.
The company is a global leader in the provision of media to various sources utilising a best in class SaaS system. The team is a globally distributed development team, headquartered in North America but happy to work across time zones. This position has been created due to a planned leave of absence, so it is a warm position with existing processes set up and all relevant training will be provided.
The Role
- Work closely with the Head of Community (in North America) to manage ongoing communication and support, advice, training, scheduling etc for a community of photographers, mostly based in Western Europe.
- Manage existing communication channels and groups, administer same and escalate issues.
- Some content creation required around mass communication.
- Onboarding new content creators (photography and artwork).
- Liaising with internal contacts regarding contracts/payment terms etc.
- Giving Workshops (content provided) for contributors.
- Monitor and report internally on growth trends and expectations.
- Over time, utilise existing experience to bring new avenues to improve processes.
Experience Required:
- Exceptional English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Creating and expanding online communities within the artistic community.
- Any and all exposure to photography, be it hands on or related to previous work.
- Amazing people skills, ability to multi-task, writing copy when needed.
- Passion for helping people achieve their artistic and commercial goals.
