A diligent, detail-oriented Junior Product Manager is sought to join a close-knit product development team working on advanced control systems used in large-scale installations around the world. These products combine embedded hardware, touch-screen interfaces and cross-platform desktop applications to manage complex real-time behaviours across major sites such as public venues, commercial buildings and themed environments. This is a hands-on role ideal for a recent graduate from Computer Science, Computing or a related technical discipline. No prior professional experience is required. The Junior Product Manager will support the development of a suite of hardware controllers, user interfaces and configuration software used to design, deploy and maintain large-scale control systems. You will work closely with engineering, QA and customer-facing teams to shape requirements, validate new features through structured testing, and produce clear, high-quality documentation that helps users and colleagues understand and use the products effectively. Key Responsibilities- Produce and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, internal references and customer-facing materials.
- Carry out structured user acceptance testing across software and hardware, capturing clear, reproducible feedback.
- Develop deep, hands-on expertise across the product range and act as a reference point for colleagues.
- Collaborate with developers throughout the development cycle, supporting delivery from specification through to release.
- Help capture, refine and organise requirements and user specifications, ensuring they are clear, complete and testable.
- Apply strong attention to detail across documentation, requirements and test feedback, identifying inconsistencies and edge cases.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computing or a closely related technical field.
