Programme Manager specialising in Infrastructure is required by a large well-known company, to lead and manage a programme of IT infrastructure transformation projects, driving delivery excellence and leading a team of project managers.
Working cross-functionally with stakeholders across IT and the business, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex IT projects from initiation through to deployment, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder satisfaction, and adherence to time, budget, and scope.
As the Programme Manager (Infrastructure), you will lead a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Analysts in planning and delivering a programme of IT infrastructure projects covering Servers, Networking and Data Centres.
Expected Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years in senior project/programme management roles, with demonstrable experience of delivering large IT transformation projects.
- Experience in managing large-scale IT programmes across all infrastructure environments, covering Server, Networking and Data Centres.
- Strong experience in end-to-end programme management; created the roadmap, implemented strategies, through to delivery.
- Proven ability to lead teams, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
- Experience managing large budgets of millions, schedules, scope, and third-party vendors across a programme.
- Strong skills in managing cross-functional teams, senior management and C-suite level executives across IT and business teams.
- Confident working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent; Agile qualification or experience desirable.
