An experienced Network Infrastructure Manager is required to lead a critical, large-scale programme delivering enterprise level network and cloud connectivity for a multi-disciplined technology firm who have just received a healthy investment and is looking to grow exponentially over the next few years.
This Network Infrastructure Manager role will shape the enterprise-wide network strategy and execution across network architecture, performance, and security. This is a unique opportunity to define the network vision, build out a new best-in-class network team, and lead the implementation of secure connectivity, high-performance LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and cloud infrastructure, across multiple UK locations.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Extensive experience at a senior-level in designing and leading network infrastructure and enterprise-scale connectivity
- Proven experience in building enterprise networks and managing multiple sites that heavily utilise Wi-Fi, as well as upgrading entire network stacks, covering switches, routers, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience in LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, AVoIP, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, HP Aruba, and hybrid cloud networking
- In-depth knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPN, zero-trust, and IDS/IPS frameworks
- Broad exposure to cloud networking, including cloud networking configurations to an advanced level - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) preferred, however, experience in Azure or AWS is required to cross train into Oracle OCI.
- Network architecture and documentation experience
- Strong background in disaster recovery, high-availability, and performance optimisation
- Strong leadership qualities with a track record of building and scaling technical teams
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
- Certifications in CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, Advanced Azure / AWS or equivalent
