A senior product manager is required to join a growing IT consultancy working on high-profile, secure central government programmes. This role offers the opportunity to shape complex, nationally significant products, challenging existing thinking and driving meaningful change through user‑centred design and agile delivery.
You’ll be given real autonomy to lead critical products end to end, working alongside experienced, multidisciplinary Agile teams to co‑design, prioritise and deliver solutions that balance user needs, organisational objectives and long‑term sustainability.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead one or more Agile delivery teams across the full product lifecycle, from Discovery through to Live. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders and product owners, guiding roadmap development, negotiating priorities and ensuring outcomes deliver genuine value. You’ll also play a key role in raising product management capability across the organisation by coaching and mentoring others.
Qualifications
- Strong background in product management and product ownership, translating user needs into clear backlogs, stories and acceptance criteria
- Proven experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps and defining MVPs in complex environments
- Extensive experience working in Agile or Kanban teams
- Good experience in leading teams through Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases
- A highly user‑focused approach, using research and data to inform decisions and prioritisation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to gain buy‑in from senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable using performance data, user research and insight to support and explain product decisions
- Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex topics in plain English
Security clearance is essential for this role - Active SC level clearance is required and candidates must also be a sole British National to be considered.
They are offering a salary of £80,000 – £90,000, depending on experience, plus great benefits and the chance to gain DV clearance in the near future. The role is mostly remote with just one day a week working onsite at client offices based in London and the South West of England.
