Risk Lead wanted by a major defence consultancy supporting a large UK infrastructure programme in Derby, which is critical to national security. You must be a sole UK national to apply, and ideally hold SC Clearance. However, we are also able to consider individuals who are eligible for SC Clearance, as long as you are a sole UK national.

This Risk Lead role will see you take ownership of risk management across a complex infrastructure environment. The Risk Lead will be responsible for running quantitative risk and schedule analysis across key programme scope. The Risk Lead will also support the development of Earned Value Management frameworks and ensure strong risk governance.

As a Risk Lead, you will work closely with the Head of Risk to deliver structured risk analysis, mitigation planning and contingency development. The Risk Lead will ensure risk is fully integrated with planning and cost functions.

Risk Lead requirements:

  • You must be a sole UK national, ideally holding SC Clearance
  • Strong experience in risk management roles
  • Experience delivering QRSA / QRA / QSRA
  • Experience within infrastructure, defence or complex capital programmes is essential
  • Strong understanding of schedule and cost risk
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Exposure to EVMS (desirable)

This role offers a salary of £80,000-£100,000 plus benefits, with 3 days per week onsite in Derby. Sole UK Nationality and SC clearance (eligibility) is essential.
