Planning Manager / Planning Lead wanted by a leading defence consultancy supporting a major infrastructure programme in Derby, which is critical to national security. You must be a sole UK national to apply, and ideally hold SC Clearance. However, we are also able to consider individuals who are eligible for SC Clearance, as long as you are a sole UK national.
This Planning Manager / Planning Lead role will see you take ownership of all planning and scheduling activity across a complex PMO environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost- and resource-loaded schedules across multiple workstreams. You will also ensure integrated, realistic programme plans that support delivery and decision-making.
As a Planning Manager / Planning Lead, you will oversee scheduling activity across infrastructure works, ensuring alignment between cost, schedule and delivery performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining schedule integrity and supporting programme reporting, and of course strong P6 experience is required.
Planning Manager / Planning Lead requirements:
- You must be a sole UK national, ideally holding SC Clearance
- Strong experience in planning or project controls roles across major capital infrastructure projects
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Experience with resource and cost-loaded schedules
- Experience in capital infrastructure, major projects, defence or complex programmes
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- PMO or project controls background
This Planning Manager / Planning Lead role offers a salary of £90,000 - £120,000 plus benefits, with 3 days per week onsite in Derby required. Sole UK Nationality and SC clearance (eligibility) is essential.
