Modeling
- Interpret concept art and sketches to create 3D character models, environments, and props.
- Optimize, refine, and correct model topology.
- Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other technical constraints.
- Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team lead and asset supervisor.
- Work with team members, team lead, and Asset Supervisor to execute projects on time and quality.
Texturing
- Research reference materials for texturing and shading as per the design.
- Unwrap UV and create textures from different applications such as Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer, etc.
- Create shading on required engines with different texture passes such as VRAY, Arnold, Redshift, etc.
- Check the shades by doing a render test on a light rig to ensure they react with the light as per their attributes.
- Work with team members, team lead, and Asset Supervisor to execute projects on time and quality.
Job Specification (Modeler)
- Experience of using Maya and Zbrush.
- Ability to do character modeling from basic design.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and character modeling.
- Must have UV and texturing knowledge.
- Having a background in fine arts will be a plus.
