The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is a hands‑on role, working with the existing team of Estimators/Inspectors, promoting a solid work ethic, whilst ensuring that our customers KPI’s are exceeded and all estimates are completed to the highest standard, maximising all revenue streams available. Identifying the cost and time scales for repair and ensuring all works are authorised prior to the repairs commencing.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles, record details accurately and fully assess the extent of any sustained damage, having a keen eye for detail and in line with customers specification.
- Have strong leadership, problem solving ability, communication and organisational/multi‑tasking skills.
- Resolve day to day issues, assist colleagues and provide guidance when necessary.
- Identify the correct prescribed repair methods and ensure these are adhered to.
- Prepare computerised and manual estimates and to accurately record these, maintaining up to date records of all estimate work.
- Liaise with the relevant body shop personnel and technicians and ensure they are fully appraised of the prescribed repair method.
- Gain regular updates on progress with repairs and keep the customer and other departments informed as necessary.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets.
- To respond proactively to site and KPI targets as set by the Site Manager.
- Use bespoke inspection software to carry out inspections when required for customers.
Hours of work: 7.00-17.00 Monday to Friday
