Part-Time Contract Business Development (1–2 days/week) IT Covered Limited is growing and we’re looking for a part-time, self-employed Business Development / Lead Generation specialist to help us win new Managed IT clients. This is a flexible role for someone who enjoys starting conversations, building relationships, and booking quality meetings.
You’ll work closely with the Director, you’ll generate opportunities and book meetings, and the Director will handle discovery, proposals, and closing (at least initially).
The focus:
- Target clients: UK SMBs (5–100 users)
- Priority: Managed IT (12-month rolling contract)
- Secondary: Projects (great leads, but managed is the main KPI)
What you’ll be doing:
- Outbound lead generation
- Follow-up and nurturing
- Booking qualified meetings into the Director’s calendar
- Light pipeline tracking and weekly reporting
- Building a small partner/referral network
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in B2B business development / appointment setting
- Confident communicator who can build trust quickly
- Organised, consistent, and able to work independently
- MSP/IT services experience is helpful, but not essential
Contract & pay:
- Self-employed contractor
- 1–2 days per week (flexible)
- Day rate + performance (meeting fee + win bonus)
