We need a 2nd Line IT Support Field Engineer who's just as happy resolving escalated tickets as they are on-site terminating cable or installing a new network. You'll own problems end-to-end, work independently, and have real say in front of customers. IT Answers has a growing UK technical team, with a clear path toward a senior infrastructure or field-project role. What You'll Be Doing Resolving escalated 2nd-line tickets — hardware, software, networking, M365, AD, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi Attending customer sites for reactive fixes, installs and infrastructure projects Installing/replacing PCs, printers, access points, switches, firewalls and routers Installing and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, patch panels and cabinets Keeping documentation, network diagrams and handover notes sharp Covering the field rota during busy periods, holidays and sickness What You'll Bring 2nd-line support, infrastructure or MSP engineering experience Strong Windows troubleshooting + hands-on Microsoft 365 admin Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP/VPN/VLAN...
