ISUOG's Safety Committee is recruiting active and experienced members to join this Committee to contribute to scan literature for matters pertaining to bioeffects and safety of ultrasound and offer an opinion to the Trustees regarding clinical relevance, to prepare and publish safety statements and to provide a rapid response to issues regarding safety and bioeffects of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2026, ISUOG is recruiting for multiple member vacancies representing both the obstetrics and gynecology specialty. To ensure smooth and effective continuation of the Safety Committee in line with the Committee working plan and ISUOG Accountability Framework, our criteria (merit) for the role of the member include:
- Demonstrable expertise and interest in the safety aspects of ultrasound
- Active clinical involvement in obstetrics and/or gynecological ultrasound
- Willingness to respond rapidly to questions from the media and professional organisations
