SD Engineers is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and personable Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team within our central London location. About the role
The role requires someone who is self-motivated, embraces responsibility, and possesses strong technical design skills and has a good understanding of construction. You should be highly personable, enjoy working in a team environment and possess strong analytical and software skills to deliver high quality engineering on a wide range of projects, varying from small refurbishments and extensions to large complex development projects.
Key skills and requirements:
- The successful candidate must hold an IStructE accredited degree in structural engineering, and ideally be driven towards achieving chartership status with IStructE or ICE.
- Exceptional communication skills are a requirement for this role as we collaborate with numerous stakeholders and design disciplines on all projects.
- Being a reliable and highly organised team player is an essential part of this role to ensure we meet strict deadlines.
- You need to be passionate about structural engineering and have a real desire to take building projects through the design process and see them built onsite.
- This role will fit someone who is proactive and able to undertake tasks independently as well as part of a team.
Salary £38,000 – £44,000, depending on experience. Direct applicants only. Joining bonus subject to passing probation.
