Are you a Structural Technician with a passion for design and problem-solving? A forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy is looking to add a Junior Structural Technician to their growing Bristol-based team. Whether you’ve just finished your studies or have up to 2 years of experience, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of exciting structural and civil engineering projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting senior technicians and engineers on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
- Producing 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD and Revit
- Assisting with documentation across all RIBA stages
- Helping maintain accurate project records, drawings, and QA logs
- Engaging with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective collaboration
- Staying on top of industry standards, software tools, and safety practices
What we’re looking for:
- A good standard of education (college diploma or equivalent in a relevant subject)
- Some experience or understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities
- A team player with a can-do attitude and keen attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with basic computer tools (Word, Excel)
The offer:
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
- Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)
