The Outreach Officer is responsible for building relationships between Istituto Marangoni and external audiences such as prospective students, schools, community groups and partner organisations. The role focuses on promoting Istituto Marangoni’s programmes, increasing engagement, and supporting recruitment efforts.
The postholder will act as a key point of contact for organising school tours and support prospective students and agents during the application process, while working closely with marketing and recruitment teams to maximise conversion. The incumbent will also support marketing activities, mainly in London, such as presentations to schools, open days, recruitment fairs, together with supporting any company events. Finally, they will be in regular contact with the academics team with the aim of organising workshops and will cooperate with the other departments as needed.
Key Purpose of the Role- Represent Istituto Marangoni London at school visits, fairs and community events
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and community organisations
- Deliver presentations, workshops and campus tours to prospective students
- Support student recruitment campaigns and outreach strategies
- Respond to enquiries from prospective students and stakeholders
- Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to align messaging
- Track outreach activity and report on engagement outcomes
- Provide students with information and advice on the courses available at Istituto Marangoni London on a daily basis
- Promptly report and escalate complicated cases to the line Manager
- Support students and partners throughout the whole application process and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Support the team with weekly reports preparation
- Manage the orientation requests, by email, video call or in person
- Support activities such as open days, fairs and presentations to schools
- Closely collaborate with Programme Leaders during the admissions process
- Keep all the platforms used updated
- Achieve own targets and monitor own performance
- Work flexibly and support the department by undertaking appropriate duties as required

- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within the higher education industry
- Experienced in creating reports and database management
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft package and Mac system
- Strong communication and presentation skills
