We are a fast-growing startup looking for a high-caliber, hands-on Finance Analyst for a fixed-term contract. This is a critical dual-focus role: you will be instrumental in managing the core operating finance function while simultaneously acting as a central driver in our major NetSuite ERP implementation and financial restructuring efforts. You will play a key, hands-on role to ensure the new system configuration aligns with business requirements and that our technical accounting and reporting functions stay robust throughout this period of significant organizational change.

Financial Reporting & Consolidation (approximately 50%):

  • Lead the month-end close and financial consolidation process for the EMEA / US entities. Ensure high quality and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage the audit processes of EMEA incorporated entities end-to-end, and ensure that the annual statutory timelines are met.
  • Banking mandate management and supporting the group treasury process, which include intercompany funding.
  • Oversee accounting to ensure quality delivery and compliance.
  • Adhoc day to day support to the business / Finance.

NetSuite Implementation (approximately 50%):

  • Act as the UK finance representative for the NetSuite ERP rollout, developing the system configuration to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Support relevant implementation workstreams aligned to the BAU deliverables, with activities such as:
  • Manage data migration, cleansing, and validation from legacy systems to NetSuite.
  • Design and test workflows for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training to the wider finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in finance/accounting or audit roles.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, in particular revenue recognition and project accounting advantageous.
  • Deep functional knowledge of working with an ERP, including Core Financials (GL, AP, AR), Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, and custom report building, with NetSuite being a plus.
  • Proficiency in data cleansing, mapping, and migrating large datasets from legacy systems into NetSuite using CSV imports or integration tools.
  • Ability to use advanced Excel features, including Pivot Tables and complex formulas to reconcile data between the old system and the new one.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
