We are looking for a confident and proactive Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the RiverCourt Restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 8 staff, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for both customers and employees. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will help maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong retail or hospitality experience who is passionate about delivering excellent service and leading a team effectively.

The Role

  • Supervise and support a team of 8 staff to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Maintain order and control within the restaurant, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Deliver high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain food quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with ISS food safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of cleanliness across all areas of the restaurant
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety and employment policies
  • Support staff training, performance, and day-to-day guidance

About You

  • Experience in retail and/or hospitality
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification
  • Allergen Awareness knowledge
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
