We are looking for someone who is practical, organised and willing to learn, with the flexibility to assist with everything from facilities support to helping keep children safe around the school site. If you have similar experience or strong transferable skills, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all school set-ups for exams, assemblies, music competitions and junior and senior school activities.
- Accept and log all incoming post and parcels.
- Collate stationery requisitions and deliver items to relevant departments.
- Distribute internal and external post.
- Take deliveries of stock and stationery.
- Ensure minibuses are clean and tidy for daily use.
- Deliver water to departments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the back yard.
- Deliver pupils’ forgotten items such as packed lunches and school bags.
- Carry out weekly maintenance checks on minibuses.
- Book school vehicles for MOTs and services and deliver them to the garage as required.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role or strong transferable skills.
- Ability to move and handle heavy equipment when required.
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full driving licence.
