Job Description We are looking for a qualified solicitor with strong post-qualified experience, ideally within the construction sector, to advise on construction and wider commercial agreements.

You will play a key role in supporting leadership teams and ensuring legal compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of transactions, including bids, negotiations, BAU and exit/termination.

Negotiate and advise on construction and commercial agreements, including standard form NEC and JCT contracts.

Deliver direct legal support to the Projects Leadership Team on a range of issues.

Support dispute resolution with clients or suppliers, including instructing external counsel where necessary.

Advise on legal developments and their implications for the business.

Maintain and update standard contract terms.

Provide legal support to the Country Leadership Team on ad hoc queries.

Support central functions (Tax, People & Culture, IT, H&S, Ops Performance) and collaborate with ISS Group Legal on UK-related global deals.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Qualified Solicitor with strong post-qualified experience.

Construction industry background with knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.

Proven experience advising on and negotiating construction and commercial contracts.

Strong understanding of contract law and standard form contracts.

Good knowledge of data protection in commercial transactions, competition law, TUPE and intellectual property rights.

Experience working in a commercially focused environment supporting diverse stakeholders.
