We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in children’s nutrition and wellbeing, who can support menu development, manage dietary requirements, and contribute to health and wellbeing initiatives while maintaining high standards aligned with ISS Education guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage referrals and communications relating to special dietary requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of special diet menus
  • Assist in the delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives across education settings
  • Provide nutritional expertise to education contracts, ensuring compliance with nutritional standards and special diet processes
  • Support adherence to relevant legislation, standards, and guidance for healthy, nutritious meals for children
  • Manage and organise the central nutrition team email inbox
  • Process dietary safeguarding referral forms and maintain the special diet menu register
  • Respond to general queries regarding special diet menus, including communication with parents and teachers

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and track data
  • Some experience working with specialist dietary requirements and relevant legislation
  • A genuine interest in children’s food and education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Degree in Nutrition (or suitable equivalent)
  • Registered with AfN or BDA
