The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
We are looking for an individual who can manage both proactive and reactive maintenance activities, respond to callouts, and represent the company to a high standard at client sites. This role also requires undertaking Authorised Person duties, contractor control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works across client sites.
- Complete electrical PPM, proactive and reactive tasks issued through the helpdesk within agreed timeframes.
- Carry out wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical-related tasks.
- Provide callout response in line with the client callout rota requirements.
- Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
- Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
- Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards.
- Represent the company professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Significant previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
- Experience working within facilities management or building services in commercial properties.
- One of the following electrical qualifications: NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation with AM1 and AM2, or City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2.
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
- City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
- JIB accreditation.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
- City & Guilds 2391 (required to become the Authorised Person).
£2,000 Authorised Person allowance payable once AP status is achieved. AP qualification typically achieved within approximately 3 months. AP duties to be carried out across the whole of East Anglia.
