In this role, you will be responsible for driving and evolving the asset management framework, helping to shape the client’s strategic approach to the performance, planning, and lifecycle optimisation of their M&E and Fabric assets.
Your input will span operational, tactical, and strategic levels, requiring a clear understanding of how asset data and insights influence service delivery outcomes.
Success in the role will depend on a strong foundation in asset management principles and practical experience in a TFM environment.
A solid understanding of technical services delivery will support your ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, influence decision-making, and deliver meaningful improvements to asset performance across the estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the client and support understanding of responsibilities through tailored training materials
- Focus on assurance, assessing performance of the asset management system and identifying root causes of any issues
- Monitor asset performance to ensure it aligns with expectations, investigating any deviations
- Own and maintain action tracking via Monday.com, supporting workstream leads
- Convert CAD drawings to PDF and manage data entry across multiple systems
- Prepare site packs for surveyors and compliance managers, and support with regulatory translations (e.g. SFG20)
- Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external subcontractors while supporting general administrative tasks
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Asset Manager, ideally within the FM industry
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Highly analytical and data-driven with strong attention to detail
- Customer-focused and self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Holds a Technical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and a current IAM Certificate in Asset Management
