Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and operational functions to achieve sustainability targets, identify improvements, and maintain compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Lead and manage sustainability activities in line with client needs, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Track and report performance across carbon emissions, waste, social value, and other sustainability commitments.
- Analyse sustainability data to demonstrate progress, identify risks and opportunities, and guide improvements.
- Work closely with the client and internal teams to integrate sustainability into daily operations.
- Identify opportunities to align client sustainability goals with wider sustainability strategy.
- Support and train contract teams to understand and deliver sustainability commitments.
- Coordinate sustainability initiatives, including biodiversity, volunteering, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with changing environmental and social legislation, and promote best practice across teams.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting sustainability within facilities management (FM) environments or Government/Public Sector.
- Understanding of environmental systems, carbon reporting, waste data, and related areas.
- Good knowledge of sustainability topics, legislation, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience of Social Value, TOMs, and the Social Value Model.
- Experience engaging and collaborating with clients.
- Strong capability in data analysis and routine sustainability reporting.
- Full UK driving licence (car allowance provided).
- Ability to travel regularly to multiple client sites.
