The successful candidate will play a key role in incident management, safety and welfare monitoring, risk and threat information dissemination, and ensuring SOC operations are delivered in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and service requirements.

The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver service and incident management support through the Security Operations Centre.
  • Support the SOC Team Lead in the day‑to‑day delivery of SOC services.
  • Monitor the safety and welfare of deployed assets across sites nationally.
  • Act as the first responder to out‑of‑hours incidents and planning requirements.
  • Manage incidents through to conclusion or escalates where appropriate.
  • Disseminate risk and threat information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the Private Security Industry Act and associated standards, including BS7499.
  • Produce daily reporting, including productivity and labour effectiveness information.

  • Experience working within a Security Operations Centre or call centre environment is essential.
  • Experience working in a structured and process‑oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently.
  • Professional and reliable approach to work.
