Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective management of energy resources in line with ISS and client objectives.
  • Identify, develop and support the implementation of new energy-related opportunities.
  • Carry out all energy management tasks to maintain compliance and service quality.
  • Motivate and train colleagues and customer teams in good energy management practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of legal, statutory and technical energy requirements.
  • Promote energy efficiency and provide specialist advice on efficient practices.
  • Develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) with associated ROI assessments.
  • Undertake energy surveys across office and retail environments.
  • Provide feasibility studies for costed energy reduction initiatives, including embedded generation and CHP.
  • Manage and deliver energy-saving projects from conception through to implementation.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience in energy management.
  • Experience working across a client estate with a focus on energy optimisation.
  • Knowledge of principle techniques and technologies supporting efficient energy use.
  • Competency in current energy and utility benchmarking techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Working knowledge of energy Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) software.
  • Understanding of BMS and control theory to drive energy savings.
  • Project management experience.
  • A full UK driving licence (regular travel around sites required).
