We are currently seeking a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious client site in Bath. As a Security / Reception Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while providing a high-visibility yet warm and professional front-of-house presence. You will work as part of an integrated Workplace and Security team, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and welcoming at all times.
The Role
- Provide a professional, high-visibility security and reception presence
- Maintain a safe and secure environment in line with Assignment Instructions
- Control access to the site, including administration of security card access
- Monitor and respond to CCTV systems
- Welcome visitors, contractors, and staff in a polite and professional manner
- Provide advice, guidance, and information to visitors and colleagues
- Escort contractors and subcontractors when required
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and evacuations
- Escalate security, workplace, or Health & Safety incidents appropriately
- Support the wider Workplace team when required
- Work collaboratively as part of a team of officers, including covering holidays and sickness
About You
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus with a professional, friendly approach
- Calm, confident personality with the ability to manage challenging situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a security or customer-facing role
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection licence (CCTV licence and First Aid certificate are advantageous)
- Eligible for Client Security Clearance (must have lived in the UK for 5 years)
