We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused engineer who can confidently undertake planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, servicing and installation works, while ensuring compliance with all health, safety and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial gas, combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works within agreed timeframes.
- Carry out fault finding, repairs, servicing and installation on commercial and domestic gas and HVAC systems.
- Undertake general building services maintenance including fabric, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC tasks.
- Provide call-out response in line with the client call-out rota.
- Diagnose and repair system and plant faults, including basic electrical fault finding.
- Complete new installations and major and minor repair works to gas and heating systems.
- Maintain plant rooms, workshops and storage areas to a clean and safe standard.
- Monitor contractors, issue Permits to Work and ensure workmanship meets required standards.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1 or CODNC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
- Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or related mechanical discipline
- Gas Safe Registered
- IPAF and/or PASMA
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial gas, combustion and heating building services maintenance.
- Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM maintenance, including fault finding and installation works.
