How to prepare for a job interview at ISS
✨Know the Role Inside Out
Before your interview, make sure you thoroughly understand the responsibilities of a Service Coordinator. Familiarise yourself with client request processes, CAFM systems like Maximo, and how to manage subcontractor communications. This knowledge will help you answer questions confidently and demonstrate your suitability for the role.
✨Showcase Your Customer Service Skills
Since this role heavily relies on customer service, be prepared to share specific examples from your past experiences. Think about times when you successfully handled client requests or resolved issues efficiently. Highlight your call-handling skills and how you maintain professionalism under pressure.
✨Demonstrate Your IT Proficiency
As strong IT literacy is crucial, brush up on your Microsoft Excel and Word skills before the interview. Be ready to discuss how you've used these tools in previous roles, especially in managing documentation and records. If possible, mention any experience with CAFM systems to show you're already familiar with the tech they'll use.
✨Prepare Questions for Them
Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare thoughtful questions to ask your interviewers. Inquire about their team dynamics, how they measure success in the role, or what challenges the service delivery team currently faces. This shows your genuine interest in the position and helps you assess if it's the right fit for you.
