The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

We are looking for a candidate who can build strong client relationships, drive service excellence, and ensure compliance, staff welfare, and continuous improvement. Reporting to a Key Account Manager, you will lead the regional integrated facility service team (hard and soft FM) while ensuring commercial performance and service resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and effective management of integrated facility operations, including planned and reactive maintenance, engineering systems, cleaning, and other soft services to required standards and SLAs.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with Defra stakeholders, acting as a trusted service partner.
  • Lead the regional team in delivering and developing service solutions, identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting and documentation, including maintenance, H&S, and safe systems of work.
  • Plan and deliver effective recruitment, training, and development for placemakers.
  • Manage contract budgets, financial targets, and SLAs to ensure commercially responsible service delivery.
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are recorded and resolved in line with procedures.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Management experience within government or a similar environment delivering integrated facility services.
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to drive operational strategy and development plans.
  • Relevant FM qualifications.
  • Experience managing technical infrastructure, assets, and engineering systems.
  • Experience delivering and managing soft facility services.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commercial mindset.
